On Saturday, 15 May 2021, after a two-month delay due to restrictions on crowd numbers, 13 talented dogs and their owners paddled out at First Point, Noosa Heads, for the highly anticipated 2021 VetShopAustralia Surfing Dog Championships.
Celebrating 10 years of dog surfing, the event drew thousands of spectators to enjoy a perfect autumn day while cheering on adventurous canines competing for the Best Wave Award.
The competition featured a diverse lineup of dogs from across Australia, showcasing impressive surfing skills, plenty of personality and the strong bond between pets and their owners.
