With challenging surf and the biggest swell seen at First Point for many years, the 2022 Australian Surfing Dog Championships was contested by eight teams, all super keen to take out the coveted Best Wave Award.
After 45 minutes of shredding, hanging 20, tandem wave riding and entertaining the massive crowd, veteran Opal Jones and newbie Lily Shadforth, with Pug extraordinaire Freddy, paddled away with the Best Wave Award.
