Equimec Paste is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic for horses which is effective against large strongyles, small strongyles (including benzimidazole resistant strains), adult and immature pinworm (Oxyuris equi), adult and immature roundworm (Parascaris equorum), adult hairworm (Trichostrongylus axei), microfilaria of neck threadworm (Oncocherca sp.), oral and gastric stages of bots (Gasterophilus sp.), adult and immature lungworm (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi) and adult intestinal threadworm (Strongyloides westeri).
Also for the control of summer sores and cutaneous onchocerciasis. Can be used on horses of any age including pregnant mares and breeding stallions.
Dosage: 200 microgram/kg bodyweight. Each syringe contains sufficient ivermectin to treat a 600kg horse. The syringe plunger is graduated in 100kg increments.
Withholding Periods: Meat - 21 days.
