How to use the ORIVET Geno Pet+ Breed Identification & Health Kit?

STEP 1: Activate your kit as instructed on the package and enter the barcode numbers included with your enclosed swabs.

STEP 2: Collect the DNA.

• No eating for 10 minutes before collection.
• Use all the swabs to collect your sample.
• Gently rub the swab on the inside of your dog's cheek for 10 - 15 seconds.
• Allow swabs to dry for 10 minutes before palcing them back in the pouch.
• Seal pouch with barcode sticker.

PLEASE NOTE: The number of swabs in your kit may vary depending on the type of test.

STEP 3: Send the sample in the self-addressed pre-paid envelope for lab analysis. An email will be sent to you once results are ready.

How Do I Get My Results?

Results are presented in an interactive online account where you can constantly update your pet’s records such as weight, body condition, nutrition, health records and medication.

You can easily share your pet’s profile with your veterinarian, health care providers, family and friends.
