Formulated with key ingredients like Tris-EDTA, it helps break down wax and flush away debris, making it easier to manage conditions like otitis externa. Regular use supports a healthy ear canal and can improve the effectiveness of medicated ear treatments prescribed by your vet. With its non-irritating formula and easy application, it's ideal for routine ear care or before applying ear drops.

Active Ingredients:

2.0 g/L Poly(hexamethylene) biguanidine hydrochloride
1.2 g/L Disodium edetate

 

How to Use:

  • Shake well before use.
  • Fill the ear canal with Otoflush and gently massage the base of the ear for 30 seconds.
  • Allow your dog to shake its head to remove excess fluid, then gently wipe away residue with a cotton ball.
  • Use once or twice daily as directed by your veterinarian.

Directions for use

For at home use:
Remove the cap of the flush nozzle. Insert the nozzle just into the ear canal opening and squeeze to fill the ear canal (approx 0.5mL for small breeds or 1.5mL for larger breeds) with Dermcare Otoflush. Gently massage the ear then allow the dog to shake its head to remove debris and excess Dermcare Otoflush liquid from the ear. Repeat this process until the Dermcare Otoflush liquid coming out of the ear is clean. Wipe off any debris and excess liquid from the ear and ear opening. Remove any adherent ear exudate from the flush nozzle before replacing the cap. For routine ear cleaning repeat this procedure once weekly only. For use in conjunction with an antibiotic ear treatment, repeat the procedure twice daily for a maximum of one week or as directed by a veterinary surgeon. Ears should be flushed and excess Dermcare Otoflush removed prior to antibiotic use. Extended daily usage can result in tissue overhydration and may retard healing of the tympanic membrane. Prolonged treatment should be monitored by a veterinarian.

For in clinic use: Can be used as an irrigation solution for clinical ear cleaning and flushing procedures.

Store below 30oC (Room Temperature). Store upright in a dry, safe place.
