Vetafarm Parrot Maintenance Pellets

Vetafarm Maintenance Pellets are designed to provide all the nutrition necessary for the long and healthy life of aviary and pet parrots. The elements needed for full feather production, muscle activity and gut function are all included in this diet. Addition of other nutrients and supplements is not necessary, but fruits and vegetables may be given as behavioural enrichment for the birds. It can also be used as a supplement to seed diets.

Extrusion cooked pellets offer a palatable, balanced diet that maintains birds at a healthy weight without excess fat disposition. Recommended for Australian and Asiatic parrots. Maintenance Pellets should be fed during the regular season with birds being changed over to Breeder Pellets around 6 weeks before breeding season and being fed on this diet up until chicks fledge.
