Preparation Instructions
- Assemble Supplies:
- Wombaroo Dog Milk Replacer powder
- A mixing container
- Warm water (previously boiled and cooled)
- A sterilised bottle or syringe for feeding
- Accurate measuring tools (spoons or scales)
- Determine Feeding Needs:
- Calculate the daily intake using your puppy's weight and the chart provided below.
- Prepare the total amount of powder and water for the day's feedings.
- Prepare the Milk:
- For 30 mL of Milk:
- Mix 1 level scoop (6.5 g) of powder with 25 mL of warm water.
- For 1 Litre of Milk:
- Mix 215 g of powder with 850 mL of warm water.
- Stir or shake until the mixture is smooth.
- Milk can be stored in the fridge for up to a day or can be frozen for up to 2 weeks.
- Check Milk Temperature:
- The milk should be at body temperature (approximately 37 C or 98.6 F). Test it on your wrist to ensure it's warm but not too hot.
- Feeding Process:
- Lay the puppy on its stomach to mimic natural feeding positions.
