How To Use:

1. Measure and Prepare:

• Accurately measure the Wombaroo Insectivore Rearing Mix according to your bird's specific feeding requirements.

2. Feeding Guide:

• Meat Mix:
  • Blend 10g (1 level scoop) of powder with 20g of minced meat or fish.
  • Add water if needed for a moist texture.
  • Ideal for magpies, kookaburras, and birds of prey.
• Egg Mix:
  • Mix 20g (2 level scoops) of powder with 1 large hard-boiled egg.
  • Mash the egg, then gradually add the powder to form a crumbly mixture.
  • Great for small insectivores and waders.
  • Mix with live insects to encourage eating.
• Moist Pellets:
  • Combine 10g (2 level scoops) of powder with 12mL of warm water.
  • Mix to a putty-like consistency and shape into pellets.
  • Offer extra water alongside the pellets.
  • Ideal for rearing orphaned magpies and frogmouths.
• Liquid Slurry:
  • Mix 10g (1 level scoop) of powder with 15mL of warm water.
  • Let the mix stand for 2 minutes, then adjust consistency if needed.
  • Feed at around 30 C using a spoon or syringe.
  • Best for sick birds or orphaned chicks needing support.

3. Storage:

• Keep prepared food refrigerated for up to 1 day or freeze it for up to 2 weeks.
