How to Use:

Mixing the Milk

• For 100mL of Milk:
  • Combine 22g (3 scoops) of powder with 85mL of warm water.
• For 800mL of Milk:
  • Mix 180g of powder with 700mL of warm water.
• Mixing Instructions:
  • Add half of the water to the powder and stir to form a paste.
  • Gradually add the remaining water and mix well.
  • Use pre boiled water at the correct temperature to prevent curdling.

• Feeding Tips:
  • Warm the milk to about 30 C before feeding.
  • Use a bottle with an LD Teat or syringe for small in-pouch joeys.
  • Feed 6-8 times daily for furless joeys, reducing to 4 times daily as they develop fur.
• Hydration Needs:
  • Provide extra water between feeds if the joey shows signs of dehydration, particularly in hot weather.
• Tracking Growth:
  • Regularly weigh joeys to monitor weight gain and adjust milk volume as needed.

Transition to Late Lactation

• When to Transition:
  • Begin around 160 days of age, when eyes open, incisors emerge, and fur appears.
• Transition Process:
  • Gradually reduce Early Lactation formula and increase Late Lactation formula over 15-20 days.
